About Gin & Tonic

Gin & Tonic balloon glasses, Hugo Spritz goblets, and large-capacity stemware for cocktails that need room to breathe. The Spanish G&T tradition popularised the wide-bowled Copa de Balón – it lets gin's botanicals open and gives garnishes (citrus, juniper, rosemary) room on the rim. Glassique Cadeau high-capacity sets are hand-blown lead-free crystal in 15–25 oz proportions. Gift-ready in our signature box.

This collection covers large-capacity shapes. The Copa de Balón Gin Goblet Cocktail Glasses are the canonical Spanish G&T balloon. The Crystal Aperol Spritz Cocktail Glasses bring 15 oz Italian-style goblets. The Art Deco Blush Pink G&T Glasses bring vintage blush-pink balloon style. The Art Deco Ribbed Goblet Cocktail Glasses for spritz hosting. Pair with our highballs collection for tall G&T service.

The classic Aperol Spritz glass is a large wine goblet – typically 14–20 oz – with room for plenty of ice, an orange slice, and a generous Prosecco pour. Italian tradition favours a stemmed balloon goblet that mimics the Spanish Copa de Balón. The wide bowl lets aromatics open; the long stem keeps hands off the ice. Glassique Cadeau Aperol Spritz glasses are hand-blown lead-free crystal in 15 oz spritz goblets and 25 oz Copa de Balón balloons. Gift-ready in our signature box.

A Hugo Spritz – the elderflower-and-Prosecco Italian cocktail – is served in a large wine goblet or balloon glass, the same shape used for Aperol Spritz. The wide bowl holds the ice cubes, mint sprigs, and lime wedges that make up the drink. Glassique Cadeau Hugo Spritz glasses are hand-blown crystal balloons sized 15–25 oz – the same vessels that serve the Aperol Spritz, the Spanish-style Gin & Tonic, and any cocktail that benefits from a large bowl.

For brunch hosting, the essentials are champagne flutes or coupes (for mimosas), large goblets (for spritz and Bloody Marys), highball or Collins glasses (for Tom Collins and other long drinks), and a few wine glasses for table service. Glassique Cadeau brunch sets include mimosa coupes, Aperol Spritz goblets, and gold-rimmed champagne flutes – hand-blown lead-free crystal, gift-ready in our signature box. The brunch host's gift that levels up the Sunday table.

Both are long drinks, but the glasses differ. A spritz (Aperol, Hugo, Limoncello) is served in a large stemmed goblet or balloon glass – the wide bowl holds ice, citrus garnish, and bubbly. A highball (Gin & Tonic, Tom Collins, Mojito) is served in a tall, narrow tumbler – the slim shape preserves carbonation and gives room for a tall mixer pour. The spritz emphasises aromatic display; the highball emphasises carbonation preservation.

The classic glass for a Gin & Tonic is a tall highball or Collins glass – the narrow shape preserves carbonation and gives room for plenty of ice. The Spanish style is the Copa de Balón (balloon goblet) – a wide-bowled stemmed glass that lets gin's botanicals open up. Either works; the highball is the everyday choice, the balloon is the showcase choice. Glassique Cadeau makes both – highballs for the classic Anglo-style G&T and Copa de Balón goblets for the Spanish style.

Glassique Cadeau hand-blown lead-free crystal glasses are dishwasher safe on a gentle, low-temperature cycle – but hand washing is the safer long-term choice for keeping rims smooth and crystal clarity intact. Use warm water and a mild detergent, avoid extreme temperature changes (never put a frozen glass into a hot wash), and air-dry on a soft cloth. For sets with gold rims, painted detail, or hand-cut crystal – the Octagonal Gold-Rim Coupes and the Art Deco Speakeasy Lowballs in particular – hand wash only to preserve the finish.

Yes – lead-free crystal is the modern standard for premium glassware and is safe for everyday use with any beverage. Traditional lead crystal contained up to 32% lead oxide, which improved clarity and weight but could leach trace lead into spirits stored long-term in decanters. Lead-free crystal (sometimes called crystalline or potassium-zinc crystal) uses barium, zinc, or potassium oxides instead, delivering the same brilliance, weight, and ring without the safety concern. Every Glassique Cadeau glass is hand-blown from lead-free crystal and tested to comply with FDA and EU food-contact standards.

Yes – every Glassique Cadeau set ships in our signature gift box, ready to wow at unboxing. The box is structured, branded, and printed with the cocktail recipe for the glass inside (an Old Fashioned recipe with our lowballs, a French 75 with our coupes, a classic Martini with our martini glasses). No additional gift wrap needed. For weddings, housewarmings, engagements, anniversaries, and birthdays, every set is already presentation-ready straight out of the shipping carton.

Expedited shipping is available at checkout for time-sensitive gifts (weddings, milestone anniversaries, holiday deadlines).

Hand wash Glassique Cadeau crystal glasses in warm water with a mild detergent, then air-dry upside down on a soft cloth or stemware rack to prevent water spots. Avoid extreme temperature changes – never pour ice into a hot-from-the-dishwasher glass or hot liquid into a refrigerated one, since thermal shock can crack crystal. Store stemware upright (not on the rim) to protect the lip. For gold-rimmed, painted, or hand-cut sets, hand wash only. Lead-free crystal is durable, but it rewards gentle handling – every glass is hand-blown, so each one is unique.
