Arthur Bulota
Arthur designs the glassware behind Glassique Cadeau – and writes the Journal on how a glass's shape changes the way a drink tastes.
Arthur Bulota is the co-founder of Glassique Cadeau, a Northern European crystal glassware house he founded in 2019 with Ugne as a two-person, family-run studio. It began with one conviction – that a glass should do a job, not just hold a drink – and grew into a 47-piece collection of hand-blown cocktail glassware, each set shipped in a signature gift box with a cocktail recipe card.
His work on glassware is hands-on in the literal sense. Arthur draws the molds himself, shaping every glass to the drink it serves: the bowl that opens a spirit's aroma, the cocktail-specific volume, the wall that keeps a drink cold longer. Each decoration, gift box and product photograph is the studio's own artwork. The glasses themselves are blown by award-winning masters using traditional methods, from carefully sourced lead-free crystal that meets food-contact standards.
That is why Arthur writes the Glassique Cadeau Journal. These guides are not pulled from a spec sheet – they come from years spent deciding why a coupe holds 5 ounces, why a Nick & Nora carries a stirred drink better, and why the weight of a lowball matters in the hand.
