I was hoping they would be a little bit heavier, but they're really nice glasses and I love the box they come in.
These are the most beautiful glasses! Even the packaging is next level! Quality is amazing! It felt decadent just opening the box! Recommend 20 out of 10!
And i don't mean that in an "Oh, i just got tasered!" kind of way. These glasses are the epitome of simple elegance, which is the whole basis of Art Deco. (Remember...Art Deco=Dwarves, Art Nouveau=Elves) I want to host a roaring 20's party right this minute! I just love these glasses and, bonus, the shape and style will easily support the obscene amount of olives i like in my martinis.
6.26.23~ Between you & me~ when I saw a box of glasses, was shipping with some not so gentle things, got a bit nervous. Then they arrived. Perfectly. The way 'Glassique Cadeau' packed, you could drop from a 2 Story bldg & be fine. It comes in a Gatsby Green, ribbed cardstock covered box that feels like wood. Inside it's packed top & bottom in 4" of black velvet lined foam, wrapped in pink satin. Don't think I've used this word to describe anything online but it looks Exquisite. The glasses equally match the presentation. Especially when you realize the box ribbing is a nod to the grooved glasses. The most impressive detail about the glasses is the base. It's wider than the bowl/glass which respects its 1920/40's inspiration. It's just a great detail if you appreciate little things. Just don't know how this is under 40 at the current price. These look & feel like each is a $20 cordial, or old school martini glass. The are a bit heavy which alludes to its value but holding it feels you're on a Luxury Ocean Liner. I admit my love of 'An Affair to Remember' may be getting the better of me. Just love a simple coupe-style glass you can talk with your hands & not spill. It's 5 oz so perfect for port, cordial or a gimlet. Also perfect to gift & ship. Enjoy.
Get me a Gibson and a boa! I feel so fancy just holding these glasses. Lightweight, nice “tin” sound when you thump it, it really is a nicely designed glass and the packaging is 😘(chefs kiss). They would make a great gift if you can part with them.
Ahhhh Art Deco.. perhaps the most beautiful of all period design styles. Geometric, rectilinear, glorious. Named after the Nick and Nora Charles films (played by William Powell and Myrna Loy- “ The Thin Man “ series ) these charming coupe stemware are perfect for martinis, daiquiris, manhattans or any of a myriad of period cocktails. Hand blown from fine crystal glass, these seamless 5 ounce geometric ribbed coupe glasses have substantial Art Deco charm. Beautiful, Elegant, Sophisticated. As a perfect host/hostess gift they come in a beautiful well made period type box with classic cocktail recipes on the back. (Also great for storage) My new go-to host/hostess gift. I love them!!
This is a really fun set of retro glassware. The packaging is beautiful, making it a great gift for people when you don't know what to buy. The glassware has lovely detailing--I am an art deco nerd and these make me smile, even though I don't drink alcohol. They work just as well for mocktails when you want to feel a little fancy, and my husband enjoys his spiked versions in them as well. They look great on our bar and actually hold about the right amount for him (he doesn't like to drink a lot, so the size is perfect). They seem to be of good quality and the presentation is so great that I haven't been able to bring myself to throw away the box😁. I would definitely order these again.
These are great glasses. They are the perfect size for classic cocktails. Nick and Nora glasses like these add a nice classic touch to an evening. They are delicate and nicely proportioned. There are no obvious seams from casting.
The packaging is lovely. This would make a great gift. It comes very well protected in this equally ribbed box. I put them through the dishwasher and they survived. Also knocked one over pretty hard and it also survived. It wasn't a drop, just knocked over my kitchen countertop. I like the ribbed look and was missing cute coupe glasses. Happy with these and looking forward to using them!
